Archbishop Bellisario, C.M.: Saint Vincent de Paul Drew Him to the Priesthood

Four centuries after Saint Vincent de Paul founded the Congregation of the Mission, his care for the poor, the sick, and the vulnerable continues to shape the Church’s work of charity. On his feast day, Most Rev. Andrew Bellisario, C.M., Archbishop of Anchorage-Juneau, reflects on the saint who drew him to the priesthood at age 13 and whose example of seeing the face of Christ in every person still guides the Church’s service to those in need today.
