Synopsis
Looking for water is a daily activity in Migyera, Uganda. The area is water stressed and arid leading to illnesses from water borne diseases. Children and friends of Change A LIfe Uganda provided clean, safe water to the community of Migyera through our Quarters for Water project. We are so happy that dry season no longer brings the challenges it previously did because the village has access to water from the 512′ deep well and 50,000L water tower. To help those who live away from the village Change A Life has launched Quarters for Water 2 to help families replace their thatched roof with metal sheets, install a water harvesting tank, a hand washing tank and construct a latrine.
