What does it take to truly live without discriminating against others? This film illuminates how difficult situations we may face actually allow us to appreciate our experience in a more holistic and compassionate way. Despite personal challenges, the young girl in this story practices active love for others and teaches those around her about patience, strength, kindness and an ability to see & accept the beauty around her, regardless of gender, appearance, age or cultural expectations. This film is a moving song of acceptance. Fatima is the story of a young girl with a visual impairment who is plagued by the unkindness of society yet anchored by the strength of her mother’s love. She refuses to concede her dream of being an Olympic judo champion.
