Synopsis
What is necessary to awaken what has died or to renew what has failed? This film is a Christology wherein a mother faces an impossible decision in order to once again hear the cries of her newborn son. It raises the resurrection question of what we may need to give up in order to begin again. MURGA-(Rooster) is a Hindi short horror fiction, based on the subject of the discrimination of girl child in India. It is a plot-based film, where an Indian lower class family drive into the woods at late night to perform a ritual for resurrection. But during the process, the controversial decision they make due to a mistake, led them to unexpected outcome of the ritual.
